Our client uses Syndifi to share their pools of loans that they’re selling to the marketplace with potential syndication partners. Greenwoods sells pools of small ticket EFAs, loans, etc. Selling loans in the traditional sense requires a vast amount of due diligence from the Buyer’s perspective. To review each loan in a deal pool ranging anywhere from five to twenty million dollars can produce between forty and eight hundred different contracts. Needless to say, the amount of information sent to potential syndication partners is overwhelming. Greenwoods sought out a better way to syndicate to improve the user experience for potential syndication partners so they can free up time and review all contracts in their portfolios in a much more effective way.

Syndifi has enabled Greenwoods’ partners to review all hundreds of documents for each portfolio of loans in a very efficient and effective manner. Potential syndication partners can review the entire portfolio in a couple of hours as opposed to the old fashioned way of exchanging data tapes and a series of back and forth emails over stretched, prolonged settlement times. Buyers can conduct due diligence on the Syndifi platform with ease. Likewise, Sellers cut down on the time required to pass on the necessary information to get syndication partners interested in purchasing a pool of loans.
